Client Overview
St Martin Podiatry is a local podiatry clinic located in St Martins, Prospect, New South Wales (NSW), Australia. They provide essential foot health services to their local community, but their online presence was severely lagging behind their clinical expertise, leaving them virtually invisible to patients searching online.
The Challenge
When the client approached us, their digital footprint was built on a very basic, underperforming website. The core issues included:
- Poor Site Structure: The clinic offered 9 distinct services, but all of them were crowded onto a single, generic service page. There were no dedicated landing pages for specific treatments.
- Zero Local Optimization: Despite being a location-bound business, the website lacked hyper-local targeting for Prospect and its surrounding suburbs.
- Outdated Design & UX: The website design was basic, failed to engage users, and lacked clear Calls to Action (CTAs), leading to low conversion rates.
- Stagnant Visibility: Organic traffic was minimal because the site wasn't optimized for search engines, meaning high-intent local patients couldn't find them.
The Strategy & Execution
To turn the site into a patient-generating asset, we executed a comprehensive overhaul focused entirely on On-Page SEO, UX Redesign, and Content Marketing.
Note: Zero off-page SEO or link-building activities were conducted. All results were achieved purely through technical execution, site architecture, and high-quality content.
1. Keyword Research & Content Mapping
We began by identifying high-volume, high-difficulty keywords that local patients use when experiencing foot issues.
- Mapped target keywords for the homepage, service pages, and location pages.
- Strategized a hyper-local SEO framework to target the clinic's immediate area (Prospect) as well as 7 surrounding suburbs.
2. Information Architecture & Complete Website Redesign
We completely stripped the old site and built a fresh, modern, and trustworthy medical website from scratch:
- Expanded Page Architecture: Broke down the single service page into 9 individual service pages and launched 7 targeted location pages to capture hyper-local search intent.
- UX/UI Overhaul: Implemented an intuitive, clean layout with highly visible, optimized CTAs making it seamless for patients to book appointments.
3. Granular On-Page & Technical SEO
Once the structure was built, we meticulously optimized every technical and on-page element:
- Tag Optimization: Crafted unique, keyword-rich Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, and structured Heading Tags (H1, H2, H3) across all pages.
- URL Structuring: Cleaned up all URLs to make them short, descriptive, and completely SEO-friendly.
- Speed Optimization: Compressed all site images and icons, optimized scripts, and enhanced overall server performance, successfully passing all Google PageSpeed Insights tests.
- Image SEO: Added descriptive Alt Text containing targeted keywords to every image and icon across the site.
- Advanced Technicals: Correctly implemented canonical tags to prevent duplicate content issues and submitted the updated sitemap to Google Search Console for rapid indexing.
4. High-Intent Blogging
We drafted and published 2 high-quality, long-form blog posts addressing specific patient queries and infused them with high-volume semantic keywords to capture informational search traffic.
The Results — Within 1 Month of Indexing
Within just 30 days of submitting the redesigned, optimized website for indexing, the SEO strategy delivered massive growth.
Google Search Console Performance Metrics
Comparing the 3 months post-optimization (4/1/26 – 7/2/26) against the previous 3 months (1/1/26 – 3/31/26) highlights an explosive upward trajectory:
